FNP clinical evaluation
Objective feedback identifies a student’s strengths and challenges and assists in the growth of skills and knowledge. Students appreciate honesty as they all truly want to do their best and what is in the best interest of the patients. From the first clinical course through the last, twice each semester preceptors will use the NONPF-based FNP evaluation form to evaluate a student's progression toward competent practice by graduation. Faculty will visit students and preceptors at the clinical site once during the semester to evaluate the student during the clinical visit. Faculty will use the same competencies for this evaluation. If a student is not meeting expected competencies, additional visits will be arranged.
