Our Clinical Nurse Specialist preceptors practice in hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and community settings. Their specialized areas of practice encompass a variety of populations (geriatric, pediatric, maternal/child) and illness specialties (including diabetes, wound, cardiovascular, and palliative care). CNS preceptors provide learning experiences in some or all of the CNS spheres of impact including patient care, nursing practice, and healthcare systems.  We, the faculty and students of IUSON, greatly value the contributions of our CNS preceptors and welcome inquiries from Clinical Nurse Specialists interested in helping our students meet clinical competency goals and become successful future practitioners.
